What rice and curry teaches about the six tastes
A Sri Lankan plate is already a complete Ayurvedic meal. Our kitchen walks through one lunch.

Teacher Training
Six graduates on what they earned, taught, and were never warned about.
We asked six people who left here with a certificate what the first year actually paid. Not the brochure number. The rent. The classes that cancelled. The ones that did not.
They taught in living rooms, in hotel gyms, on a roof in Berlin. Two of them made enough. One went back to the job they had sworn off. All of them said the same quiet thing: nobody had told them how few hours a week a new teacher is asked for.
The training here is still the training. It will not invent students for you. What it can do is make your voice less thin when you do find a room.
If you come for a career, come anyway. Come with your eyes open. The lake does not owe you a living. The practice might.
